The interface design for Google’s new live stock market app is pretty slick. All kinds of information convergence happening. Notice the way it links to news stories on top of the graph of the stock price.

    Interesting. I just spent about five minutes staring at the live update of Google’s share price. Up, up, and up so far this morning. This post was especially of note to me since I work at a press release/financial disclosure service (a so-called commercial newswire). We distribute news to downstream partners, including Google and Yahoo Finance, who then link up the relevant stories that appear on these quote pages, based on ticker symbols.
